Snowing in June?

For the past few weeks, we have been enjoying the beauty and mystery of nature. No, it's not really snowing, but it looks like it! We must have several big cottonwood trees around us because every day it looks like it's a blizzard! I keep looking to see if I can literally see the cotton come from the tree, you know, like you do in the fall when the leaves fall from the trees? Well, I just can't see the cotton in the trees, on the trees, anything! I'm not a smart one when it comes to nature, so maybe someone can explain it to me, but for now, I'll just keep looking in the trees!
