Ok, yes, I had a little birthday dinner for my little white dog's 6th birthday. I know it was more for me than for her. Since she's not the "only child" anymore, she does get the back burner and I had some guilt by not doing anything for her. But on an even deeper level, I will never forget how she saved my life. Daisy and 'Lil Dude have been angels in my life and some may never understand or may think I'm ridiculous for celebrating a dog's birthday, but I say....what does it hurt? Celebrate the little things, and thank you, Lord, for the 2 little dogs that saved my life.
