2 weeks old!

Can you believe it? I dread how fast time flies, especially when they are so little. Anyway, we had his 2 week appt yesterday and Jace weighed 8lbs 5oz! So we are past his birth weight! That's some good num-nums! He got some more labs drawn today to see if his thyroid levels are improving...I have high hopes. They also drew blood to see if he has any of my antibodies in his blood, which would mean he has the transient (short-term) kind of hypothyroidism. The doctor told us not to get our hopes up for that kind, but it's worth drawing blood to see. Either way, he will remain on his medicine until the age of 3 because brain development and growth is too critical right now, so they don't want to interrupt anything. Otherwise, he's still a good baby and sissy still LOVES him! Thanks for all the words of encouragement over the last week.....we appreciate everyone's love and support..........
