ARGH....RSV!

Well, we almost made it.....Jace is 11 months and I really thought we were going to escape the dreaded RSV hospitalization with both of our people.  BUT......here we are!  Jace bought himself a one-way ticket to the hospital last night with RSV.  He's pretty miserable.  He is enjoying the benefits of ibuprofen at this very second, so he is laying next to daddy and trying to figure out why his toe is glowing (oxygen monitor).  His intake and output were not rock star, so he's on IV fluids.  He did need some oxygen last night, but now that he is awake, he's off the oxygen! Soooooo, who knows.  I didn't get any sleep because I stared at his oxygen monitor and listened to him grunt to breath and cough all night.  Jeremy stayed the night too, but in his flight office because he's "working" today.  But with the snow, the helicopter is out of service, so he will get to spend the day in the room with us (yeah!) but without his hunky uniform (boo!). So here we are....again,......in a stupid small room......but this time the tv works.....and All bubby knows is that he just wants to go back to being a Shrimp Boat Cap'n.....

here's bubby this afternoon...starting to play now and then....discovering that putting blocks through the crib bars makes lots of noise and doesn't require a lot of energy expenditure!
