We were discharged from the hospital today--YEAH! His thyroid level did get high, but besides some abdominal discomfort and spitting, we didn't notice any other side effects. As for the tremors and seizure, we are still waiting on some lab tests, but otherwise all is good. I am very pleased with the results, even though we still don't know much, I will take this good news! I, of course, am noticing little neuro things (thumbs inside his fist at times, favoring one side, arching at times), but we all expect me to be hypersensitive to EVERY LITTLE THING! These are just things that I'm noticing and need to say outloud so I quit stressing on the inside. I know that all we will do now is watch him and wait. I think I am just keeping my expectations lower, but have high hopes, make sense? But he couldn't be any happier...he talks and smiles and is very content when he has his awake times, and that is the most important thing, right? Anyway, just thought I would update those who follow the blog. Thanks for the kind words from those who sent messages or emails....we appreciate everyone's support through everything. It's just nice to be home.

Hello dear friend...I just wanted you to know that Amit and I are thinking about you and are sending our love. You are a rock for that precious little boy and the admirable optimism you possess will get your family through this. I love you and I am always here for you.
Tiff,
Surprise..it's me, Kathy Behounek. Been reading your blog and praying for strength for your family. Jace couldn't have a stronger or faithful mother than you. GOD will bring him through this to be a Man made in His image. My parents would love to help you, if you need anything at all. Take care, K
